Tom and Ethan make Stamford School history representing the school for the first time in “Rackethlon”

On Sunday  we  made our racketlon debut in a UK-wide tournament held in Nottingham.  We were the first students to represent the school in this sport.  Racketlon is the ‘triathlon’ of racket sports, comprised of table tennis, badminton, squash and tennis, played first to 21 points in each sport.  We dominated the squash, only losing 28 points in total between us in 6 matches! Tom competed in the D grade event, and Ethan in the E grade, and our brilliant racket skills and fitness levels led both of us to victory in their respective categories, Ethan in particular easing his way through the E category. This is a fantastic start both of u in the racketlon world and we hope that we continue to compete in the future and face new challenges as they enter higher categories.
