U13 C
On Saturday the U13 C team played hockey against Wisbech grammar school, despite the freezing weather, we won 9-0. Amelie Betts was chosen as the player of the match, it was a well deserved choice because she scored a number of goals and attacked brilliantly. The C team played well (probably our best match yet!) This match was our first match that that we co-ordinated excellently together, and got the ball down into the D a lot more. Congratulations C team for our stunning win!

U13 D
The Under 13 D team played a home match against Wisbech Grammar School. It was a great match and we finished with a 4-0 victory. Izzy Robertson, Katia Doody-Velasquez and Kitty Breeze (2 goals scored) scored the goals, however everyone greatly contributed to those goals being scored. Our defence and mid-fields were amazing considering Jess Clark out goal keeper didn’t not touch the ball once throughout the whole match leaving them with no goals scored against us!! By the second half we were in the lead and had more of an idea on tactics about how to score with Katia and Izzy scoring two more amazing goals taking the total up to 4-0. Everyone played extremely well throughout the whole match so a big well done to everyone!

Badminton Match Report

Last week saw the 6th Form badminton team’s second game of the season against Oundle. The first team performed well, despite the tough opposition, just about losing with many games being as close as 21-19 and 21-20. The seconds managed to clutch up a draw in the final game, thanks to Ryan Heasell and Heidi Hooper in a game that ended 21-17. Really well done to Holly Klimes who won the most games overall.
This week, a mixed game against Oakham will commence; in which we are all very confident in our abilities to come out with a win.
All round, a great performance from everyone who took part and we shall look forward to the next one.
