Year 7, Ally Jordan is the second blogger on the (now famous) Kingswood Residential!

On the 16th of October 2017, the Y7 group set off for Kingswood Activity Centre near Doncaster. The journey lasted around 1 hour and a half and when we arrived we got off the bus, grabbed our suitcases and luggage and dropped them off in a nearby classroom.

Next, we met Mihia, our activity leader, who gave us a tour of the area and then we were sorted into our groups and started our first activity with each group having a different activity. After, we were put into dormitories and got ready for dinner. After dinner, we did an activity where we got bits of cardboard and made a castle out of it. It was very fun because we used our teamwork and cooperation skills to complete it. We grabbed our suitcases and headed to the rooms for bed straight after the activity

In the morning (after breakfast) we got straight onto our varied activities. Soon after the first activity we were straight onto the next one and had great fun. After lunch and another two activities we headed for the campfire where we sang songs, listened to some jokes (not all funny) and listened to a creepy story and all in all had a good time.

The next (and last) morning after a nice breakfast we energetically got onto our final two activities and had amazing fun learning new skills. After lunch, we packed our bags went to the shop that was there and went back to school.

Also, when a bag was stuck on the roof and Mr. Kirkpatrick had to lean out of the window to get it!  It was really funny!  Not sure why!?

Overall, we had a great trip and I would definitely go again!
